Smoker
If you take the oven and set it on top of hot briquettes with ( hickory flavored wood chips), it will create a smoke that will travel up through the ovens unique center cone.
Two Oven's Out Of One
If you take the lid and place it upside down on top of a gas stove, conventional stove, or hot briquettes, then take the grill and place it on top of the lid, the grill with lock into place in the upside down lid. Now for your second oven (the bottom of the Dutch oven) you will need to make a lid for it by placing some tin foil over the top to keep the heat from escaping.
Grill
You can uses the grill to cook everything from pancakes to eggs, the nice thing about this grill is you can uses it while you are cooking in the lower portion of the Dutch oven. You could also uses your grill to cook your biscuits, while main course of your meal was being cooked in the oven below it. Just place your meat and vegetables in the bottom portion of the oven uses the grill for the lid, place your biscuits on the grill and place the main lid on top of the grill. Then place your Dutch oven in the fire, remember to place hot coals on the top of the oven or your biscuits will not turn brown, because they need heat from both the top and bottom.
Steamer
Vegetables can be be steamed in the oven by simply placing them into the lower portion of the oven and adding 1/2 cup water when the oven is nice and hot, cover and let them steam cook. Remember to wrap onions in tin foil and place corn on the top rack.
Roaster
Place a turkey or chicken of the center cone in the bottom portion of the Dutch oven (no bigger then 10 or 11 pounds) so that the cone is inserted into the body cavity of the bird. Next add one cup of water and let cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Hibachi
Remove the units top lid and place six none lit briquettes in to the bottom of the oven around the cone, next light them and place the rack back into place proceed, by Bar B. Q, what ever you want!
